Million Inch Challenge Crew-
as I said there would be “Benchmark Challenges” that will help you determine your progress in the fitness category over the next 12 weeks. Your time is your time. It doesn’t matter what anyone else does. It matters what YOU DO! Post your time and improve it the next time we do the same challenge. Here’s the first one!
Week 1 Benchmark Challenge – To be completed either Saturday or Sunday.
50 Burpees in as little time as possible
*1 Burpee = No Jump / No Pushup

Semi-cranked
50 burpees in 3min 15.5sec
50 Burpees in 3 minutes 18 seconds
50 burpees=2:55-not bad for 3am and considering Mr. Burpee and me don’t get along!
3 Minutes 17 Seconds – Not too Bad
Great job everyone! We will be re-doing this test in 4 weeks now that you have a baseline.

I got in late, just back from Vacation, so early morning. 50 burpies: 4 minutes 41 seconds (Holy Moly….I Need a lot of work!) I did have to catch my breath once or twice
Too much homework but I got it done today – Mom counted and my brother timed me – 1:59 minutes
I should have done this earlier in the day. 2:27
50 Burpees in 3 minutes 40 seconds…. After 30 minutes of Cardio, completed the first 25 in the first 60 seconds. Took the next 2 min and 40 seconds to complete the back half!
finally did it, 50 in 3:20 with a whole lot of encouragement(thanks Liz and Greg), thigh’s cramping after only 23…this was after class so next time it will be before class….
50 burpees in 1minute 50 seconds
50 in 2 minutes 16 seconds
50 Burpees in 2 minutes 6 seconds
16 rounds of 10 pushups/20 squats in 15 minutes
Times are looking great! These will give you a baseline for the re-test. And yes there is going to be a re-test

2nd Try
50 burpees in 2min 56.2sec
2nd round of burpee challenge: 3 min 21 seconds, very much improved!
50 Burpees in 1 minute 36 seconds
Round 2-50 burpess-2:45, little better and didn’t seem as hard.
