It’s that time of year again.  Everyone is thinking about how fat and lazy they were in 2008.  You’ll wake up January 1st 2009, shower, look in the mirror and decide that it’s time to get your sorry ass in shape.  I don’t understand why people have to wait until the beginning of a new year to lose weight, get sexy and get in the best shape of their life.  It’s really a phenomenon.

Everything I am about to mention will NOT replace these two items…
1) ACCOUNTABILITY
2) BEING PUSHED by a personal trainer or workout partner

…that you will receive when you attend my Woodbury/St. Paul kettlebell classes or my RAD Boot Camp.  However, I want to help the kids at home find something that works for them…until they decide it’s time to suck it up and join Kinetic Edge.

Let’s review some serious tools to help you lose fat and get sexy in 2009:

Tool #1 Kettlebells.

I discovered kettlebell training in September 2003.  My body and my life transformed.  Kettlebell training accelerates fat loss and builds killer conditioning.  By now you’ve seen kettlebells and kettlebell training popping up all over the place.  There are a lot of dumb asses out there claiming to be kettlebell trainers like this one right here…

Friends, this is NOT what you do with a kettlebell.  Real kettlebellers don’t wear skin tight Under Armour shirts and “curls for the girls” is so 80s.  I can’t believe they allow this crap in stores.  Actually I can, because the marketers are very good at selling you LIES.  That is an entirely different topic that I am working on…that you will be able to access in a Free Special Report (very controversial) from me very soon.

Back to kettlebell training.  When you want to know the truth about Russian Kettlebell Training, click here.  Dragon Door was the pioneer on getting the word out in the United States about kettlebells.  Their kettlebells are still the highest quality you can find and their instructor training program is the best.

Kettlebell technique.

Kettlebell technique is more difficult than it looks on YouTube.  Trust me, I’ve worked 834+ hours this year alone with all types of people who think they’ll waltz in and pick it up.  Wrong.  Get with an instructor.

Guys you’ll want to start with either

16kg or 20kg max weight regardless of what your ego is telling you.

Ladies you’ll want to start with either

8kg or 12kg.  I promise you’ll be able to lift them properly with strength after 1 or 2 sessions with an instructor.

Kettlebell techique is VERY difficult to learn from any video no matter how good it is.  Working one on one with an instructor will cut your learning curve down drastically.  Let me say this again… GET with a Russian Kettlebell Instructor…capiche?
