After seeing this, I though of two things.

1. One day I was supposed to train some people at a fitness studio when the electricity went out. The owner canceled the sessions for the day. I thought that was really lame, and told her so. She even had kettlebells. They had exercise before electricity was invented and mass produced. Needless to say, I don't work at that studio any longer.

2. During my ISSA certification, I watch a video with Fred Hatfield (the first man to squat 1000lbs) and he explained to me that we are breathing and hearts are beating 24 hours a day. To think that you are only doing cardio when you are on a bike (gasp), treadmill (lame, esp. in FL), or elliptical (double lame) is misinformed - but a lot of trainers think that way. I am trying for a 7lb/month weight loss (and I would like to think that I am already in shaped and vowed not to use any cardio that is plugged in.

Take care, Faizal
